2010 Season
Congratulations to the 2010 Lake Erie Regiment Independent World Guard for another successful season! The show "Strength, Courage, and Hope" showed the struggles and battles of breast cancer, and brought an emotional response from the crowd at every performance throughout the whole season. The guard finished this season with a score of 71.8 at the WGI Championships in Dayton, OH.
Plans are already underway for 2011. Anyone interested in membership should contact the guard director, Shawn Marie Gorring at disney4shawn@roadrunner.com.

Strength, Courage and Hope
Lake Erie Regiment Independent World guard in their 2010 show will experience the emotions and feelings of individuals that are or have experienced the struggles and battles of breast cancer. These individual women are from our local area. The 2010 show is entitled Strength, Courage and Hope.
The local organization "Linked by Pink" helped us out by letting us record their stories and using them throughout our show. We hope to bring the importance of doing whatever we can to fight the fight against this and all cancers! The Regiment has helped "linked by Pink" by having a fundraiser to raise funds for them. The fundraiser was called baking for breast cancer and they baked pink pound cakes to raise funds for this local organization.
