2013 Color Guard Season
The entire board and staff of the Lake Erie Fanfare wishes to congratulate our Independent A Color Guard on it's outstanding finish at the recent TRWEA Championships earlier this month! The guard completed it's first season in it's return to the IA class by finishing 2nd with a score of 76.96. We are hoping this growth and resurgence continues for this 18 year old color guard and plans are already underway for the next season.
Special thanks to the entire staff of the guard including Director Shawn Marie Gorring, Assisted by Marvina Davis and Kayla Hardner. Also thanks to Matt Jones, visual designer and Eric Rogers and Chris Niklaus, drivers. Good Job Everyone!

Lake Erie Regiment Winter Guard to return to Independent A Class for 2013!
After several years marching under the Independent World Class, the guard staff and Board of Directors of Lake Erie Fanfare have decided to return the group to its roots by competing this year under the IA Class. We feel this will be a great fit for the area youth members from High School thru College Years who want to march and learn the art of Color Guard. The group plans to compete in the TRWEA circuit ths season and anticipates appearing in about 6 shows.
Open House and Tryouts will be held over two weekends on Sunday November 4th and again on the 11th from noon until 4:30 PM at the North East High School. Tuition dues for the entire year will be set at a modest $150. All the necessary forms are located on our winter guard page and applicants are asked to wear comfortable clothing for the tryouts. Parents are welcome to contact us at any time, keeping in mind that since the entire staff are volunteers who work during the day, e-mail often provides the easiest means.
